I just finished reading Lullabies for Little Criminals, by Heather O'Neill. It was a great read! It took a bit to get used to the narrative style, but it was an interesting insight in to the life of a child shuffled from home to foster care and back again.
I haven't been home much in the last month, so I haven't had much time for baking. I think next on my list will be a granola banana bread, since my mom has lots of ripe bananas waiting for me in the freezer. I've rediscovered the joy of granola. I'm eating one called "Hazelnuts & Honey" by Rogers which is very nice!
